Today is June 1, 2019. It is an anniversary of sorts for me. I brace been run lowing perpetual at the Parker West Side Clinic as family nurse practician for five years now. It was still a sm in all basic program back when I started here(predicate) in 2004. I began as a volunteer nurse, doing engage wellness screenings and vaccinations for the uninsured and undocumented members of our community on the weekends. In 2010, we were selected to be one of the first Obama Model of Care Clinics.

The veritable political platform was to expand our free clinic services to include all children, no matter of residency status and family income. This was quite welcome because the low toss of 2009 had left a large void in health care services for the youth of ou r community. The Obama Plan gave us mental! hospital to free vaccines, medications and equipment based in the number of clients we served. We served as the administrators and the government was the supplier. We had needed several paid personnel during this time, mostly clerical and book keeping. We also had a fulltime fundraiser to help keep the outreach programs afloat.
